O Cine Fórum reuniu cinéfilos e interessados em cinema para a exibição e debate do filme Cartas de Amor (1983), dirigido por Amy Holden Jones, na sede da Fundação do Livro e Leitura de Ribeirão Preto. A sessão integrou a programação cultural da instituição e apresentou ao público uma obra que nunca foi exibida comercialmente nos cinemas brasileiros.
A escolha do longa partiu dos curadores Marcos e André de Castro, os Gêmeos do Cinema.
