O encontro marcou a primeira reunião entre a Diretoria da entidade e a nova gestão administrativa do município e contou também com a presença de Maria Eugênica Biffi, secretária municipal de Cultura e Turismo.
A realização da 24ª FIL (Feira Internacional do Livro de Ribeirão Preto) – agendada para acontecer de 15 a 24 de agosto – foi a pauta central da reunião, além de outros assuntos relacionados ao fomento da literatura e da cultura na cidade.
