O Sarau dos Médicos, organizado pelo Grupo de Médicos Escritores e Amigos Dr. Carlos Roberto Caliento, iniciou sua agenda cultural de 2025 no dia 4 de fevereiro, com mais um encontro na sede da Fundação do Livro e Leitura de Ribeirão Preto.
O grupo completa 19 anos em 2025, desde sua criação em 2006, consolidando-se como um importante pilar cultural em Ribeirão Preto. “Além de representarmos a cultura, também criamos e cultivamos o hábito artístico em muitas pessoas que, embora gostem de ler e escrever, frequentemente não têm o incentivo necessário”, destacou o coordenador do Sarau, Nelson Jacintho.
Além de cultivar o hábito artístico, o Sarau dos Médicos é considerado o ponto de partida para muitos autores locais de Ribeirão Preto e região, funcionando como o coração pulsante da FIL - Feira Internacional do Livro de Ribeirão Preto. “É nesse espaço que diversos escritores publicam suas primeiras obras ou refinam textos para futuras publicações, consolidando o encontro como um verdadeiro “esquenta” para a edição anual da FIL”, comentou Nelson.
