Cine Fórum exibiu “Proposta Indecente”

O aguardado encontro do Cine Fórum teve como destaque a exibição e o debate do filme “Proposta Indecente” (1993), dirigido por Adrian Lyne e estrelado por Demi Moore, Robert Redford e Woody Harrelson. A atividade foi realizada no dia 12 de abril, na sede da Fundação do Livro e Leitura, com coordenação dos Gêmeos do Cinema, André e Marcos de Castro.
A indicação de Demi Moore ao Oscar de Melhor Atriz motivou a escolha de “Proposta Indecente” para a programação do Cine Fórum. A exibição foi uma forma de homenagear a atriz, reconhecendo sua atuação mesmo sem a conquista da estatueta. Outro fator que influenciou a escolha foi a data de lançamento do filme: 7 de abril de 1993, nos Estados Unidos. “Isso foi sem querer, mas o exibimos no seu aniversário de 32 anos. Esse filme sempre será debatido, relevante e atual”, destacou Marcos de Castro.
Após a exibição, o Cine Fórum promoveu uma roda de conversa com os participantes. Entre os temas levantados pelos organizadores, uma das perguntas que gerou mais discussão foi: o que cada um faria se estivesse no lugar dos protagonistas, diante dos dilemas morais apresentados no filme, como abrir mão de um relacionamento por dinheiro. Marcos de Castro lembrou que, embora hoje o debate sobre esse tipo de situação seja mais aberto e, em alguns casos, até aceito por certos casais, “Proposta Indecente” não foi bem recebido na época de seu lançamento, tanto pelo público quanto pela crítica. “Inclusive, o filme recebeu indicações ao Framboesa de Ouro de pior atriz e ator. Mas hoje, muitos críticos defendem que eles poderiam ter sido indicados ao Oscar pelas atuações”, comentou.
