Projeto Revitalização de Bibliotecas entrega unidades em Guará e São Joaquim da Barra

Neste mês de fevereiro, as cidades de Guará e São Joaquim da Barra foram contempladas com novos espaços de leitura, através do projeto Revitalização de Bibliotecas realizado pela Fundação do Livro e Leitura de Ribeirão Preto em parceria com a Usina Alta Mogiana.
A primeira entrega ocorreu no dia 6 de fevereiro na Escola Estadual Professor Pedro Amauri Silva, em São Joaquim da Barra. Nos dias 19 e 26 de fevereiro, a Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Professora Latifa Salomão Migliori e a Biblioteca Pública José Theodoro de Figueiredo, ambas em Guará, também receberam as novas bibliotecas.
Para celebrar as reaberturas, foram realizadas sessões do espetáculo “De Lucca Circus Show”, que apresentou técnicas circenses como equilibrismo, malabarismo, escada acrobática e monociclo girafa, com participação do público.
As reformas fazem parte de um cronograma anual que, ao longo de 2024, revitalizou sete bibliotecas, entre escolares e públicas, na Região Metropolitana de Ribeirão Preto, e foram planejadas conforme as necessidades de cada local, sem alterações na estrutura dos prédios. As melhorias incluíram pintura, reparos elétricos, instalação de televisores e ar-condicionado, além da aquisição de mobiliário e novos livros, selecionados de acordo com o público atendido.
Para este ano, o projeto prevê reformar outros cinco espaços públicos de leitura em municípios da região de Ribeirão Preto. O programa conta com incentivo do Programa Nacional de Apoio à Cultura (PRONAC), por meio da Lei de Incentivo à Cultura. A parceria da Usina Alta Mogiana com a Fundação do Livro e Leitura de Ribeirão Preto também contempla apoio em projetos da FIL (Feira Internacional do Livro de Ribeirão Preto).
